Review of Free Flash Game: Doodle God 2

Develop a system early on for discovering new elements. It is tedious, but in the end, when there are literally hundreds of different possible combinations, it will save you a lot of time. One possibility is each time a new element is discovered, go back and mechanically try to combine it with all previously discovered elements.

Duke Nukem Forever

After spending over a decade in development, Duke Nukem Forever has finally been released to a public eager to see the return of one of gaming’s greatest heroes. Hardcore Duke Nukem fans will likely enjoy the game’s crude sense of humor, as their hero tosses back beers, visits the strip club, and delivers enough one-liners to make Bruce Campbell proud.

Mafia II

In Mafia II, you play as protagonist Vito Scaletta, an Italian immigrant whose parents brought him to the United States in the hopes of building a better life. The opening cinematic follows him as a child leaving the old country, to causing trouble as a teen, before planting you back in Italy, this time as an American G.I. fighting Mussolini’s soldiers in the streets.

Dead Rising 2

Like most men in today’s society, I’ve spent hours planning the perfect zombie escape plan. If this sounds like something you’ve done before, then pick up the computer you’re reading this on, throw it out the window and go buy Dead Rising 2.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

Castlevania:Lords of Shadow owes a huge debt to its third-person action game ancestry. The game starts off slow, and I would have to forgive someone an hour into it if they thought they were playing Kratos goes to Dante’s Inferno to look for a Heavenly Sword.

Fable III

Fable III is all about revolution. On our third trip to the land of Albion, we see a world that is changing. An industrial revolution has taken place, and the signs are evident from Brightwall to Bowerstone.

The Sims 3 for the DS

In a normal day, what do most people do? Wake up in the morning. Use the restroom. Shower. Brush your teeth. Eat breakfast. Go to work for several hours. Go home. Watch TV. Eat. Watch more TV. Go to sleep. Repeat.

Super Mario World

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years since Shigeru Miyamoto revealed the Super Mario Brothers franchise. It’s true, Mario had appeared in games before, most notably as “Jumpman” in 1981′s Donkey Kong, however it was 1985′s Super Mario Brothers that rocketed the titular plumber into video game super-stardom. Since then, Mario has been featured in scores of games across over a dozen different platforms and has become not only iconic of the Nintendo brand, but arguably the most recognizable face of the hobby itself.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Review

The first time I beat Sonic the Hedgehog 2, I was ten. I remember because it was a few weeks after my best friend’s tenth birthday and he got the game as a gift. The first time I played the game was at that birthday party or perhaps a bit after the party had died down. What a trip.
