Experience The Thrill Of Rise Of Flight

Video games, especially flight simulator games online like Rise of Flight, have come a long way from the arcade games that were so popular in the 80’s. That craze led to developers trying to find a way to get those games into peoples homes, which they did with the introduction of game systems.

James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes

I got my Nintendo 3DS at the beginning of the year, along with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This is my favorite game of all time and, I’ll admit, the only reason I traded in my DSi for the 3DS was to play Ocarina again. While I love Ocarina, it’s also a huge commitment. It takes dedication, and then there are all the little side quests you can do. Then once you’ve completed the game you get to play the “Master Quest” version. Needless to say, I got my sword and shield at the beginning of the game and…. That’s as far as I got. I wasn’t prepared to dive into a game that I knew would consume my life for the next several weeks. So I began my own real life quest to find a decent 3DS game that I could pick up, play for an hour or so, and then tuck away without going into withdrawal. That game was James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes.

Gaming Then and Now

Recently I decided to go back into my collection of video games. I hooked up my Sega Genesis and plugged in Sonic the Hedgehog. This is one of my all time favorite video games. There is no doubt that Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis is a classic that every gamer should play.

American Pickers: The Road Less Traveled Review

If you have watched the show before, you might also love the game. American Pickers: The Road Less Traveled is a hidden object game that is based upon the hit reality television series American Pickers. From the TV show’s Wikipedia entry, it seems to have become the highest rated History Channel debut since 2007 when it debuted last 2010. This makes the show in the level of amazing. But can the hidden object game follow suit? Well, let us review the game and find out.

The Scruffs: Return of the Duke Review

Way back in 2007, hidden object aficionados encountered The Scruffs, a fun and quirky game that features equally fun and quirky characters as they try to unfold a family secret and prevent their beloved family home from being sold. Fast forward to present 2012, a sequel to this game appears. The Scruffs: Return of the Duke features a completely different storyline, but brings back the comical family from the original game. And this time, they are involved in a bigger adventure which we will be tackling with the rest of this review.

Aaron Crane: Paintings Come Alive Review

If you are tired of the same old hidden object game play that is always being integrated into adventure gaming and would just like to, for once, play a pure adventure game, Aaron Crane: Paintings Come Alive may probably be the game that you are waiting for. This game is adventure on the purest level as there is absolutely no hidden object scene on sight. But how does it fare against hidden object adventure hybrid games? Well, let us see and find out.

Back to the Future: The Game

Are you telling me that you built a time machine…out of a DeLorean? Great, Scott! Whoa, this is heavy, Doc. Most people can tell you what movie these lines are from, and most can even pull off a Christopher Lloyd or Michael J. Fox impression while doing so. Of course the movie is Back to the Future. If you have shunned movies and general pop culture for the past 27 years, I suggest you go out and buy the trilogy on DVD or Blu-Ray immediately. You’ll laugh through the first one, chuckle at the second one, and probably stop about midway through the third film due to lack of interest.

The Surprising Adventures of Munchausen Review

The Surprising Adventures of Munchausen is another Big Fish Games exclusive that graced me initially as possibly another hidden object game that is like all the others that came before it. However, this game also teaches me to not judge a book by its cover, because as I soon found out, it is not a hidden object game. This game goes beyond hidden object as it is more an adventure, and a whimsical, crazy and humorous adventure at that.
